Who We Are

SparkLabs is a small Australian based software company that loves making beautifully functional software for the Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Windows. SparkLabs was brought into existence in early 2008, and is still burning strong. We love all things networking and image processing based. Viscosity is our current feature product, with Viscosity Server to follow shortly.

James Bekkema - Founder

James spends his time dreaming up and developing software to perfectionist standards. James is a Mac and Python guru, and has a passion for creating software that people love to use. When James isn't obsessively working on the next great SparkLabs app, he spends his time working on his PhD researching distributed computing with the Cell processor.

Eric Thorpe - Developer

Eric has a passion for all things programming, and has a knack for Python and .NET programming. Eric brings along his extensive network knowledge from his time as a network administrator to ensure that SparkLabs apps meet all expectations. He loves making things that help people and make their lives easier and more fun.

What We Do

SparkLabs specializes in making attractive, functional, and easy to use software. We primarily focus on developing commercial software, however you're welcome to contact us if you have a project you'd think we'd be interested in.

If you'd like to get in touch with us for any reason, please feel free to use the contact details to the left. We occasionally get asked if we are hiring. While we are not currently advertising any specific positions, we are always looking for talented developers and designers. If you think you have what it takes, please feel free to get in touch with us!

Where We Are

SparkLabs is based in Bathurst, Australia (a 2 hour drive from the more well known Sydney).
