Uninstalling Viscosity for Windows
Knowledge Base > Viscosity Windows > Uninstalling Viscosity for Windows


Before uninstalling Viscosity, ensure you have exited the program first. Uninstalling Viscosity will remove all its connections, settings, adapters and registration information.

Windows Vista, 7, or Server 2008

  • Go to Start->Control Panel; or if you are using the classic Start Menu, Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel
  • Click "Uninstall a program"; or if you are in list view, click "Programs and Features"
  • Select Viscosity from the list of applications
  • Click the Uninstall button at the top of the list
  • At the prompt, confirm you want to uninstall Viscosity
  • Click Finish once Viscosity has uninstalled.

Windows XP and Server 2003

  • Go to Start->Control Panel; or if you are using the classic Start Menu, Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel
  • Click "Add or Remove Programs"
  • Select Viscosity from the list of applications
  • Click the Remove.
  • At the prompt, confirm you want to uninstall Viscosity
  • Click Finish once Viscosity has uninstalled.
