Just tried it with one client connecting to my home LAN through my neighbor’s WiFi network and this laptop connecting to it through a public xfinitywifi hotspot.

Same issue. I wonder, what the interaction between two clients is.

I have set up an OpenVPN server on my pfSense box at home. It works just fine, and when connecting using tap, it’s almost an identical experience to being at home. However, when I connect two clients (Mac) to the VPN, the cycle through making the connection, cutting it, and establishing it. I have o...

A while back I followed the instructions for how to set up an OpenVPN server on pfSense . I got it to work beautifully. A few months later it no longer works. The OpenVPN log file on my pfSense box reveals nothing. Neither do the logs in Viscosity Details. For troubleshooting I hop on my neighbor’s ...

Problem solved. Now it is past midnight in Germany, and my dad gets 13.3 Mbit/s ⇩ and still only 1.82 Kbit/s ⇧. Not great, but sufficient for the VPN connection.

I did a screenshot video of what is happening with one of my connections. You can watch it here (can’t attach video files here): https://youtu.be/drmWOqObqjM What is that could be going on? It’s my dad’s computer in Germany (my OpenVPN server is in the U.S.), and he has only 2.81 Mbit/s down and 1.9...

I have tried all sorts of things like: Duplicating the OpenVPN server in pfSense that works and modifying only the local port (from 1194 to 443). I also had to change the tunnel network from 10.8.0.0/24 to 10.8.1.0/24, because pfSense does not allow two OpenVPN servers with the same tunnel network. ...

I successfully followed the SprakLabs instructions for how to https://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/article/setting-up-an-openvpn-server-with-pfsense-and-viscosity/ . That sets up a VPN port of 1194. The IT infrastructure at my work blocks pretty much everything, but Port 443. Since I am not running ...

I have used the tutorial on how to up an OpenVPN server on my pfSense router. Somewhere along the way I screwed up and ended up with a non-matching user certificate. What would I have to do to remove certificates and other settings, in order to be able to start over with the tutorial from scratch— w...
