Hi existenz, Viscosity 1.0.6 is built against the version of OpenSSL that ships with Leopard (an older version, and Apple do restrict what algorithms are available). The latest beta (1.0.7b4) is built under Snow Leopard, so you're welcome to give that a try. 1.0.7b4 is the first build under Snow Leo...

Hi centit, It looks like Viscosity's DNS support script was unable to run. Are you using the latest version of Viscosity (1.0.6)? Older versions may have issues when running under Snow Leopard. You can also try turning off DNS support by Editing your connection in Viscosity, and unticking the "...

Hi justbn, Even though Viscosity still thinks it is connecting, can you ping the other computer through the VPN? Static key setups are a little different to the normal VPN model, so its possible OpenVPN is not informing Viscosity that the VPN connection was successful, however it may actually be up ...

Hi centit, As far as I can tell you should be able to get Viscosity to connect to a Watchguard Firebox VPN server. Try editing your connection in Viscosity, clicking on the Certificates tab, and make sure that Viscosity was able to successfully import the CA, Cert, and Key files for your connection....

Hi melbogia, I'd recommend you try editing your connection in Viscosity, clicking on the Advanced tab, and removing the lines "route-method exe" and "route-delay 2" from the advanced commands area. Click Save, and see how you go. I'd also recommend checking your OpenVPN log and s...

OpenVPN recently released version 2.1rc20 which no longer requires an argument to be passed. We'll be pushing out a new version of Viscosity in the next few days that includes this version of OpenVPN.

Hi jbaret, We've actually received feedback from both people wanting this removed, and people wanting it to stay (after we initially nuked it during one of the early betas). I'll look into removing it further, however at this stage I'm thinking a middle ground solution might be best (such as "A...

Hi UD, Thanks for the feedback. The lost license form is available at the address below. I've also updated the support entries to have direct links to this form. http://www.viscosityvpn.com/support/lostlicense/ Our email system is a little messy at the moment as we're still transitioning over to new...
