Hello

I installed Viscosity on computer. Every time I start viscosity, it asks me password and I cannot connect to server.
On another computer it ask password only once and connection work fine.
Uninstalling Viscosity, removing tun/tap drivers and installing it again gave no effect.
How can I correct this?

Here the log file:
--

Viscosity could not start OpenVPN with root/admin rights, which means OpenVPN may not be able to start the connection. Trying to continue anyway...

Hi kriakoziabra,

It sounds like Viscosity is unable to set the correct permissions on part of itself. Where are you running it from? It is recommend you run it from the Applications folder. Some locations (such as your Downloads folder) do not allow root permissions, meaning Viscosity will be unable to start OpenVPN with the correct permissions. If this is the case, try moving Viscosity to the Applications folder, restart Viscosity, and see how it goes.

Cheers,
James
