Hi,
My colleagues and I love viscosity. Since we introduced the client, our problems like we had with the software Tunnelblick for example, have disappeared. It works great.
The problem we have now is that we will replace our open VPN solution in the near future.A solution from Fortinet will be used. Now to my question would it be possible to use Viscosity with this solution?

I know it's probably difficult to answer just like that because Fortinet is a proprietary manufacturer. But maybe somebody has already come across someone.

best

Hi Christian,

Viscosity supports the OpenVPN protocol - it will be able to connect to any VPN server that supports this protocol. I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with Fortinet's offerings to be able to say definitively whether they support OpenVPN or not, however based on a quick internet search it looks likely they don't (and instead support IPSec and a custom SSL VPN protocol).

Cheers,
James
