In the preferences, Configurations, it would be good to be able to double click a configuration to be able to open it.

If you have a connection that fails due to a timeout, and then you select "Disconnect", from the pull down menu. The menu says "Disconnect" for a number of seconds before it says "Connect" again. In the mean time there are no entries in the log file, so it doesn't look like the application is doing anything. You may want to add some status message in the log.

Starting and stopping Viscosity would cause me to lose the network connection on a MacBook on a Wifi connection. Only by stopping and starting the wifi (Turn Airport Off / Turn Airport On) would I get back the internet connection.

I've added it to the list - it should make an appearance in a future version.

Typically Viscosity is waiting for the OpenVPN process to fully exit before allowing you to reconnect, which is why there is a small delay. I'll see about adding details to the log, or disabling the menu item, during this period.

This sounds like a routing issue - probably one of the remote routes is the same as your local network, and so OpenVPN is overwriting and then removing the route on disconnect. You may like to tick the "Reset network interfaces on disconnect" option under Preferences->Advanced, which should save you having to manually disconnect and reconnect the connection.

Cheers
