I was just wondering if there is any news on the server version of Viscocity. I am currently running an Astaro (now Sophos) virtual appliance but based on how amazing your VPN client is, I can only conclude that your "coming soon" server version will also be amazing.

Hi TheMilkMan,

Glad to hear you're interested - Viscosity Server is still a work in progress. It has been a long time coming (as Viscosity itself keeps demanding our attention), however we plan to put a post up on our Blog with the latest information, alpha/beta info, etc. sometime soon. :)

Cheers,
James

I'd like to bump this request. Any update to this project since the last response was back in Aug of 2012.

Thanks!

Hi djrbx,

It's getting there. :)

I'd love to be able to offer something more concrete, however I'm afraid it's still under development. We've got our hands pretty full just keeping up with Viscosity, however we are putting as much time as we can into getting the Server version across the line so people can start having a play with a beta version. A blog post giving a status update is on our to do list, so please give it an occasional look: hopefully we'll be able to post an update soon.

Cheers,
James

It's been a year. Is there any news about a VPN server from sparklabs?

I would love to buy a VPN server from you guys so I can replace the crappy and unreliable one that shipped with OS X Server (10.6.8)

Hi Digs,

The primary reason a server version is taking so long is that we're spending most of our extra time on mobile versions of Viscosity. Unfortunately this means the server version doesn't get as much development time as we'd like to put towards it, at least for the time being. Earlier comments still stand: as soon as we have something we'll be putting up information & beta signups up on our Blog. :)

Cheers,
James
