I have a working Anyconnect SSL VPN setup. What is the easiest way to move my client to the Viscosity VPN client? There is no import feature, and the Cisco VPN doesn't seem to offer any export either.

Any detailed steps anyone can provide greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

Hi Jim,

OpenVPN can't connect to an Anyconnect server, so you won't be able to use Anyconnect configs with Viscosity.

If you do have an OpenVPN server though, please have a look at the following on how to import connections:

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply. Would this apply to Cisco ASA too? If so, I was under the impression that Cisco Anyconnect is an SSL VPN --- so assumed it should be compatible with some proper tuning with OpenVPN.

Thanks again.

Hi Jim,

OpenVPN and all Cisco VPN offerings are very different and you won't be able to mix and match them at all.
