VISCOSITY CONNECTION ISSUE WIN10
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
Hi mc753,
Is this a company provided laptop and if so, was it provided with Viscosity already installed? The error indicates that Viscosity Service is not running elevated. By default, Viscosity Service is installed as the SYSTEM user, however this has either not happened and the service is running as a different user that doesn't have permissions to perform elevated tasks, or the SYSTEM user has been altered on your computer somehow. If this is a company issues laptop, I recommend contacting your IT support for assistance with this, they may need to change the user the service is running as. If this is your own laptop, I recommend reinstalling Viscosity as a first step.
Regards,
Eric
