I've said it before and I continue to say it, I love Viscosity, it does just what it should and does it well. :D

In the last update to 1.2 however, when I select to connect I'm presented with the usual username and password dialog, but the PASSWORD field always has initial FOCUS instead of the username. I find this very annoying. Is this something just with my install or intended?

Hi Troy,

Yes, unfortunately it snuck into the 1.2 release. However it has already been fixed up in the latest 1.2.1 beta versions, which you are welcome to grab at: http://www.thesparklabs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=134

Cheers,

Good job James, just another reason I love Viscosity! Do you think you'll sell in the Mac App store?

Hi Troy,

We're not sure at this stage - like most developers we're still weighing up the pros and cons and waiting to find out more information. Apple also have some guidelines against installing kexts for the Mac App Store. Viscosity's tun/tap kexts are installed inside its application bundle (rather than installed into the system), so we're also unsure whether this is acceptable or not.

Cheers,
James
