Growl notifications are not working on OSX 10.6
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
Hi DonMagee,
Growl notifications should be working (at least, they have worked when tested at our end). If you go to the Apple menu, select System Preferences, click the Growl icon, and finally click the Applications tab, is Viscosity in the list? If so, click the Configure button - are connect and disconnect notifications enabled?
Cheers,
James

Yes, the are both enabled. I reinstalled Viscosity and growl just to make sure there wasn't something wrong with either install. Cyberduck, firefox, growltunes, etc all give me notifications. Right now only only Viscosity isn't giving me any growl notifications.
I am using Growl 1.1.6 and Viscosity 1.0.5.
The only thing I noticed that is different then when I was using OSX 10.5 is that growl has to reload the system preferences pane before it shows me settings (it switches from 64bit to 32bit).

Hi DonMagee,
I've just included the latest Growl release with the 1.0.6b5 beta release which you may like to try, however I am seeing the same issue on one of the Snow Leopard machines here. I'll continue to look into it, and hopefully include a fix in the final 1.0.6 release.
Cheers,
James

Just a quick update: Growl notifications should now be working under Snow Leopard with the latest beta build (1.0.6b7 at the time of writing). It can be downloaded at:
