MacOS 13.2.1 Start at Login
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
Hello,
I have a new M1 Mac Mini and have been installing all my favorite apps. I have been using Viscosity for years on a Mac Mini from 2012. Strangely enough I can not get the Viscosity app to start at login. I have tried all the recommended fixes to no avail. This is very strange, I hope I can get some help. Thanks,
Scott Needham

Hi scott451,
There are no known issues with the option, however you could try using the latest beta version of Viscosity to see if it makes any difference. On macOS 13 it uses a newer available framework for setting itself as a Login Item:
https://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/ar ... -versions/
Make sure you also haven't inadvertently disabled Viscosity's ability to set itself as a login item. To check this, go to the Apple menu, select System Settings, click on the General item on the left, and then Login Items on the right. Make sure Viscosity is in the list and hasn't been disabled.
Finally, if you're still stuck please try running through the steps at:

Cheers,
James
