I am researching if it is possible to get the certificate from the keychain/computer store on macOS and Windows, respectively. I seem to recall that the Windows version has support for getting the certificate out of the computer certificate store, this is correct right? The macOS platforms does not seem to support getting the certificate from the system keychain, as referenced here:

Considering that the thread is rather old, I'd like to ask the same question again - is this possible with recent versions, or planned in the near future?

Hi vdanchev,

I'm afraid Viscosity doesn't yet have such a feature, however it's still something we're working towards. We don't have an ETA available, but it's something we hope to have available in the future. In the meantime, recommended alternatives include using an encrypted PKCS#12 file for certificate/key storage, or a PKCS#11 token (either physical or virtual).

Cheers,
James
