I was wondering if macOS will be blessed with a ViscosityCC commandline tool like the one that exists for Windows. This would be so useful for scripting and integrations with Alfred, Raycast etc.
Hi luckman212,
Viscosity can be controlled from shell scripts using the "osascript -e" command:

I'm afraid we have no plans for add a "ViscosityCC" style process on macOS: it was necessary on Windows as Windows doesn't have an offical OS scripting language like macOS.
Cheers,
James

Still, it would be very useful to have a tool that outputs connection info/detail in JSON format... the current solution is very fragile.
